ASMR THERAPY FOR ANXIETY AND PANIC ATTACKS

Welcome back to OUR channel everyone! If you’re new here, I’d like to welcome you to our family, and I encourage you to introduce yourself below. We sound like a cult, because we probably are. It’s been requested lately for an anxiety/panic help video. I’ve done videos to help subside those feelings during an attack, and this is the exact same type of video – only using a different approach. Diversion. I start with manipulation of sounds, sounds so light they are barely audible (brushing). This has the mind thinking it’s paying attention to something important, so in the midst of a heart racing panic attack – this can help trick the mind into diversion to get your heart rate down and focus elsewhere. That alone will not stop a panic attack usually, so I then use typical (yet light) finger snapping to put the mind elsewhere as well. The summary of this video is multiple diversions using audio and visual stimulation to take away fight or flight during these attacks. I hope you enjoy this different approach family. If you know anyone suffering from these feelings, they may potentially benefit from this video or another ASMR type bit. So with that being said – sit back, relax, and let me trick to help your mind. Know I LOVE you, with ALL of my person, and I will see you tomorrow!! #asmrtherapy #asmranxiety #panicattack ~ ~ ~ ~ BUSINESS EMAIL – Sponsorships, Collaborations, & Commissions ONLY – contactkarunasatoriasmr@yahoo.com ~ ~ ~ ~ Want to get ATTATCHED? Anxiety Help: How To Stop Anxiety and Agoraphobia (for REAL)

Hey guys. This video is one that I’ve wanted to share for a while in hopes of helping others who may be going through some tough times with anxiety, panic disorders, or depression. It took me a while to get around to filming this because I didn’t want to share such personal problems on here, and I didn’t want to seem like I was jumping on some trendy anxiety train (seriously, I recently read somewhere that sharing mental illness stories was “trendy”….*eyeroll*). I decided to share this anyways because this is a VERY REAL problem with not a lot of true success stories to relate to. And if you’re anything like I was, you need someone to relate to during tough times. Anxiety and agoraphobia had been a big part of my daily life for about 7 years. It started off being something I could manage but as time went on, my mental state became increasingly worse to the point of not leaving my house for weeks at a time. My mind was taking a physical toll on my body and I just wanted it to end. I struggled every day with feelings of panic and a mind that just wouldn’t shut up. I wanted to share with you what worked for me as well as what didn’t… because the absolute worst thing was feeling like I was alone in this and that there was no hope at all for recovery. Now that I know that to be false, I don’t want anyone to ever feel the way I felt, so I tried to cover as much as I could in this video about my story and how you can take the same steps I did to overcome your own anxiety issues. If you have any questions or stories of your own, feel free to comment below. xox Visit Me: —————————————————————————- My Blog: http://www.thewonderforest.com Instagram: http://www.instagram.com/wonderforest Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/wonderforest Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/thewonderforest Design Shop: http://www.envye.com LOVE YOU!!! *Some links included in this description, such as Amazon links to products, may be affiliate links.

Do YOU Have GENERALIZED ANXIETY? | Kati Morton

Generalized Anxiety Disorder is when we have excessive worry or anxiety that last for at least 6 months. This anxiety and worry can lead us to feeling restless or on edge, easily fatigued, have difficulty concentrating, irritable, tense muscles, and struggle to get a good night sleep. This anxiety and worry can lead us to feeling restless or on edge, easily fatigued, have difficulty concentrating, irritable, tense muscles, and struggle to get a good night sleep. This anxiety and worry can lead us to feeling restless or on edge, easily fatigued, have difficulty concentrating, irritable, tense muscles, and struggle to get a good night sleep. In adults, this disorder tends to be focused around worry associated with health, finances, and everyday routine life circumstances. In children, this tends to present more as worry about competence (tests and assessments) and the quality of their performance (sports games, musical performances, etc). Although the median age of onset is 30 years old, those who they spoke to stated that they had felt anxious their entire lives. The good news is that there are many treatment options! First is talk therapy and more specifically CBT. This helps us challenge those automatic/faulty thoughts so that we can slowly get back to doing the things we used to do without worry or anxiety. This can take time and lots of therapy homework, but they find CBT to be the best therapy approach.Secondly, medication. I know not everyone is open to trying medication, but they find that CBT with medication gives us the best chance of recovery. Usually, SSRI’s or SNRI’s (otherwise known as anti-depressants) are used first. If those don’t help at certain intense moments, they may prescribe a benzodiazepine to be used only in acute situations due to its habit forming tendencies. So please be careful if you are prescribed these and do not use them every day.Lastly, there are some lifestyle changes you can make. Eating regularly and from a well-balanced diet can help. Also, cutting back on coffee and alcohol can help us sleep more soundly and get rid of any symptoms that may feel like anxiety. Getting exercise and taking time to meditate can help us better manage any of the anxiety symptoms we struggle with.I hope you found this helpful! GAD is very common and something many people struggle with daily. The sooner we get help for this the better, so please share! You never know who it could encourage.
