He studied at the Leuphana University Lüneburg, the University of Oldenburg and the University of Dar es Salaam in Tanzania. He is co-founder of the student initiative Nachdenkstatt. Colin has consulted the European Court of Auditors in greening their procurement processes and was invited as an expert in the field of sustainability reporting in higher education by the German Council for Sustainability. He co-initiated the Sustainability Reporting Network in Higher Education, now HOCHN.
