Proof positive the DNC is expecting a chill in the air at tonight’s Dem debate [photo]
The controversy between the DNC, Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders campaigns has been resolved, but the party is still be expecting a chill in the air during tonight’s debate at St. Anselm College in Manchester, New Hampshire. Here’s proof:
People wondered if the DNC was deliberately trying to freeze out reporters after it was learned that the media filing center would be in a hockey arena, but at least some heat is being provided. #Caring
Hillary’s campaign stop doesn’t appear to be ‘for the children’ [photo]
Judging from this picture, it certainly looks like the kids are taking to Hillary on the campaign trail! Well, maybe not:
The little girls are getting plenty of empathy:

John Podesta mocks Marco Rubio as ‘Florida man’; Gets geology lesson in return – twitchy.com
One of the funnier parody accounts on Twitter is “Florida Man” and its collection of tweets highlighting odd stories that involve people form Florida. For example:
And:
Which brings us to John Podesta who calledMarco Rubio a “Florida man” in response to a comment Rubio made about Hillary Clinton’s energy policies:
Here’s the tweet Podesta linked to:
Nice try with the mocking, John, but no. Florida’s eroding coastline is“just normal.” That’s what ocean waves and storms do to beaches! Coastlines will always change, so stop denying the science:
Now, we fully expect Podesta’s answer to be that global warming makesthe erosion worse. Well, that’s not true either. The problem in Florida with beach erosion — with or without global warming — is that there’s too much development too close to the beach. Here’s a good article from the AP on the battle in Florida between environmentalists and business/home owners:
“These beaches have been here for thousands of years and nobody renourished them. They just naturally kept themselves wide and beautiful,” said Christian Wagley, an environmentalist who lives on the Florida Panhandle. “The problem comes when we come and draw that line in the sand and put that building there that won’t move, next to a beach that has to move in order to survive and be healthy.”
And:
“They want to subsidize the risks of some of the riskiest development in the state of Florida. We believe that what is happening on St. Joseph Peninsula is perpetually subsidized beach replenishment. It’s the poster child of failed coastal management policy in Florida,” Appleson said.
Exactly.A healthy coastline is one that’s allowed to ebb and flow and to suggest otherwise is just wrong.
‘Popcorn time’! Barbara Boxer defends Hillary’s progressive cred after Bernie Sanders goes on attack
The following tweets from Bernie Sanders’ feed don’t mention Hillary Clinton by name, but it’s not hard to read between these lines:
In an interview, Sanders softened that position, but only slightly:
What does Barbara Boxer think about that?
Things are getting real in the Dem race.
It’s actually quite entertaining. Continue, candidates!
‘Nail. Head.’ Carly Fiorina’s latest Clinton zinger won’t make her Hillary’s Penn pal
Carly Fiorina took a not-so-subtle swipe at Hillary Clinton this week when she said, “unlike some other women in this race, I actually like spending time with my husband.”
And the jabs keep coming:
Ouch!
Hillary laughs when asked about FBI investigation

Next first spouse tells Andrea Mitchell why 2016 is no 2008
Is it ironic that long-time Clinton cheerleader Andrea Mitchell is asking Bill Clinton how Hillary’s run for president has changed between 2008 and 2016? Perhaps Mitchellthinks there’s more she could do to help this time around.
Bill Clinton stressed that 2016 won’t be a repeat of 2008, unless of course Bernie Sanders manages to come out of nowhere and defeat Hillary. That won’t happen again, though, because Hillary and Barack Obama had “enormous overlap” in their issues, with Hillary carrying the extra burden of Bill and their shared scandals.
Aside from the flipping of quarters in Iowa, technology has almost completely transformed the campaigning process, and Hillary Clinton is getting pretty handy with technologies like the fax machine, the iPhone, and the shredder. What else has changed?
And point. It’s 2016, and the video clip shows that Bill Clinton still points at people who ask him uncomfortable questions.
