Human beings have a habit of being violent. We have spent countless decades fighting each other and ourselves. This photo, however, could convince anyone to live a peaceful life. A strong police officer was reduced to tears because of the violence and abuse he witnessed. It’s time to stop the violence.

When the president of the Republic of the Philippines delivered his State of the Nation Address, police were dispatched in the vicinity to keep protesters calm. An officer, who was simply keeping the peace, was being harassed by a protestor. He was screaming “Why are you doing this? Why are you hurting us?”, at the cop, even though he was just standing there.

He just replied: “I am a policeman, I’m just doing my job.” He was overworked, threatened and just trying to help. He broke.

Some of the protesters noticed the cop, and took pity on him.

They offered him tissues and pats on the shoulder.

As violence raged on in front of him, he began to weep silently.

Before he was removed from the front line, some protesters tried to protect him and hug him.

We are all just people. We all want peace.

Choosing anger and violence is NEVER the right call.

‘Daily Show’ host Trevor Noah wishes ‘pro-lifers’ would devote their zeal to gun control – twitchy.com

There was a sigh of relief across the entertainment industry afterSouth African comedian Trevor Noah managed to earn enthusiastic reviews forhis debut as host of “The Daily Show.” Today, though,we’ll just go ahead and sigh. It’s not that we thought Noah would manage to find humor across the political spectrum; we just didn’t think he’d resort to unfounded liberal clichs so quickly.

The Los Angeles Times notes today that Noah tackled the subject of gun control on Monday night’s show by wishing that pro-lifers would devote some of their zeal to preventing gun violence; i.e., passing gun control.“Imagine if we could bring some of that pro-life passion into being well, more pro-life.” ROTFL!

His comedic observation? Republican anti-abortion activists are like comic book collectors: “Human life only holds value until you take it out of the package, and then it’s worth nothing.”

Because until it’s delivered, the fetus is just a clump of cells. Didn’t you learn anything from Bill Nye’s dropping of hardcore abortion science?

Confusion over Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s condition already has been so great as to inspire a “Where’s Hillary?” headline on the Drudge Report. After Clinton was revealed to be under treatment for a blood clot in her head, liberals lambasted those who questioned Clinton’s concussion, despite reports from medical professionals that the two conditions were likely unrelated. Then there was that stomach virus.

Headlines today that Clinton had been discharged from the hospital would seem to clear up matters.

They would clarify things, aside from the fact that she might not have been discharged. Yes, she was spotted leaving the hospital with her husband and daughter, but that only seems to prove that she left the building. Whose tweet are you going to believe?
