Let President Obama be clear, though: Eric Shinseki is a great guy who has done great things for the VA.

Barf.

Sorry, Mr. President. This is too little, too late.

If Obama were truly serious about taking action, he would’ve given Shinseki his pink slip a long time ago.

Sickos see where man who allegedly threatened Boehner’s life ‘is coming from’

http://twitter.com/#!/eriContrarian/status/464847930478694400

Last night, a man was arrested for allegedly threatening the life of Rep. John Boehner. The suspect is reportedly upset because Congress hasn’t extended unemployment insurance:

http://twitter.com/#!/LukeRussert/status/464843110766243840 http://twitter.com/#!/LukeRussert/status/464844631931236352

More details from Politico:

Brandon James Thompson was receiving unemployment checks for $341 each month, and they ended Jan. 11, according to an FBI affidavit. Thompson allegedly made a number of threats on Boehner’s website and to his wife’s cell phone. Thompson had a concealed carry permit and no criminal history, the FBI said. He admitted to the threatening calls, the FBI said.

Believe it or not, there are those who think that what the man is accused of doing is wrong, but at the same time they could sort of understand his frustration with Boehner:

Just another day in the land of “new tone.”
