Text, Don't Call

As seen in Real Simple’s 2017 Gift Guide An illustrated guide to the challenges and pleasures of the introverted life Introversion is “in.” But there are still many misconceptions about introverts in the world. They’re shy. Anti-social. They don’t want to have close relationships. They’re all cat people. They don’t like big parties (okay, that last one might be true). INFJoe, the cartoon persona of artist and introvert Aaron Caycedo-Kimura, is here to set the record straight. Filled with charming comic book style illustrations, this book provides invaluable insights into the introverted life with plenty of humor and wit. Full of moments that will make introverts say, “That’s so me!” as well as helpful tips on surviving at parties and in the workplace, Text, Don’t Call is the perfect gift for your quiet friends, or the extroverted ones who could use some help to better understand the introverts in their lives.

LIVING WITH PANIC ATTACKS (part of ANXIETY DISORDER)

Please watch with headphones (or on anything that has good audio). If you want to see more, you can donate on my website with exclusive content: https://napiorkowska.ning.com/m/ MUSIC and some extra SOUND help: Tomek Chmielewski I do not suffer from panic attacks. A HUGE THANK YOU TO EVERYONE who sent me emails describing their anxiety disorders. I wouldn’t have written this without your help. Most videos on youtube are about “anxiety” which (scientifically speaking) is pretty inaccurate. There are a couple of different anxiety disorders: panic attacks, agoraphobia, social anxiety, specific phobias, generalized anxiety disorder. All of these differ and I think each deserves a separate video, not a messy mash-up. And that’s exactly what I’m going to do. If you think you’re experiencing panic attacks, you might want to watch Zoella’s videos, she gives some really good advice on how to cope with those: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7-iNOFD27G4

Oops: Rupert Murdoch suffering from premature tweet syndrome?

http://twitter.com/#!/rupertmurdoch/status/198790518640091136

Uh oh. Rupert Murdoch is catching hell for what appears to be a Twitter misfire after he tweeted the name of Conservative MP and chick lit writer Louise Mensch. Yep, just her name.

Mensch was subjected to vile, misogynistic tweets earlier this week when she and other Conservatives in Parliament voted they would not back a report calling Murdoch “not a fit person to run an international company.”

Some in the Twitterverse connected Murdoch’s cryptic tweet to Mensch’s support for him, while others thought it might be a senior moment.

RT @rupertmurdoch: Sorry. That Louise Mensch tweet was supposed to be a DM to the PM. He was asking me what I wanted for my birthday.

If this doesn’t humble you, I’m not sure what will. Sadly, all of these amazingly beautiful animal migrations are being threatened by climate change. Just imagine a world without bird migrations, it would not be good.
