— Sharyl Attkisson (@SharylAttkisson) April 17, 2013

@rcdarmy @cbsnews I think whistleblower connotes a particular term and possible security vs. only witnesses, nevertheless particular

— Sharyl Attkisson (@SharylAttkisson) April 17, 2013

@drawandstrike @cbsnews We concur:i actually utilize “survivors” to express to your people that escaped bullets about… or had been hurt but survived

— Sharyl Attkisson (@SharylAttkisson) April 17, 2013

@drawandstrike I might state eyewitnesses would interact with these types of both women and men as those on a lawn just just who saw events but might possibly not have been already threatened

— Sharyl Attkisson (@SharylAttkisson) April 17, 2013

The smoothness regarding the communications utilising the #Benghazi whistleblowers and their particular identities are not getting made neighbor hood nowadays…

— Sharyl Attkisson (@SharylAttkisson) April 17, 2013

In response, the Oversight Committee sent letters to the three nationwide organizations included: the CIA, the Defense Dept & State Dept

— Sharyl Attkisson (@SharylAttkisson) April 17, 2013

@drawandstrike logically we’re saying: all survivors tend to be eyewitnesses not all eyewitnesses are generally survivors, right?

Boston bombing suspect ID’d as ‘dark-skinned male’; Gwen Ifill, libs go nuts

http://twitter.com/#!/pbsgwen/status/324569697272086530

Oh, here comes the good old race card! As Twitchy reported, CNN broke the news that a suspect in the Boston Marathon bombing has been identified. John King reported it was a “dark-skinned” male. Cue the outrage!

CNN describes suspect as “dark skinned male.” Progs going nuts over description.

— Michelle Malkin (@michellemalkin) April 17, 2013

Yep. It wasn’t just the predictable Gwen Ifill. King was also on the receiving end of some freak-outs because he said he wouldn’t give further information so as to not “inflame tensions.”

John King sayswont give more information about suspect not to inflame tensions doubt he would say that if dealing with a conservative

— In G-d We Trust (@conservative013) April 17, 2013

Huh. But, here come the lib freak-outs.

Heh, now @cnn (specifically @johnkingcnn) wants to pull back and not “inflame tensions” cc: @aceofspadeshq

— tsrblke (@tsrblke) April 17, 2013

Hm…..”Dark skinned male” says a lot already, John King, who says he won’t release more info for fear of “raising tensions”

— Alex Kane (@alexbkane) April 17, 2013

You don’t want to cause offense and further inflame tensions but you don’t have a problem with mentioning he’s “dark skinned.” Re: John King

— Andrew (@metsfanapk) April 17, 2013

Yeah, #thanks so much John King for not “inflaming tensions” by saying only that a dark-skinned male is responsible & giving no add’l info.

— Erica L (@infinitehope23) April 17, 2013

As Twitchy reported, Salon’s David Sirota is hardest hit. Remember, he hoped the bomber was a “white guy.

“dark-skinned male” – John King, CNN (@davidsirota hardest hit)

— Sean Agnew (@seanagnew) April 17, 2013

Hear that popping noise? Libs heads exploding over #CNN‘s description of “dark skinned individual.” cc:@davidsirota

— ★♥ Harriet Baldwin(@HarrietBaldwin) April 17, 2013

Sirota wasn’t alone.

guess what! he ain’t a dark skinned foreigner! (at least the pics i saw) #MentallyChallenged

— Zafar Khudayberdiev (@bianconerifan) April 17, 2013

People are cooked anything other than “white” could be worded as “Dark skinned” that doesn’t mean BLACK! Smdh

— Chericee.H (@ChericeeH) April 17, 2013

#Bostonbombing suspect a “dark-skinned male”. #CNN, why would you say that? You’ve unleashed the hounds of hell. #foxnews

— Bonnie Greer (@Bonn1eGreer) April 17, 2013

I feel like counting the number of times #CNN uses “dark-skinned male.” I’m so over polarizing and insensitive language in the media.

— Kailey Latham (@KaileyLatham) April 17, 2013

Great. Possible Boston bombing suspect identified only as “dark skinned”. Could you vague&racist that up a bit?

— Nicole (@TheNicoleWitte) April 17, 2013

#NeverForget RT @lesismore82 Cuz we all know Boston doesn’t take too kindly to Dark skinned people

— Nicky Flash (@milesfan79) April 17, 2013

Yeah, “dark-skinned individual” is not at all vague and devoid of anything but fuel for terrible posts to online comment sections

— Mike Radoslav (@MikeRadoslav) April 17, 2013

Here is an idea, libs. Why not be happy that the case is moving forward and justice may be served? But, then, that doesn’t serve your grievance-mongering, does it?

Donald Trump comes out against letting states manage federal lands?

Some news to report out of Las Vegas where Donald Trump sat down with Field & Stream magazine for an interview during the National Shooting Sports Foundation’s annual SHOT Show.

First up, the GOP front-runner came out against letting states control public lands now run by the federal government saying, “I don’t like the idea because I want to keep the lands great, and you don’t know what the state is going to do”:

This is what they’re talking about, with the land in red owned by the federal government:

Rand Paul has already spoken about this, saying in 2015 that federal lands should be handed over to state or local governments:

“I’d either sell or turn over all the land management to the states,” Paul, a Republican presidential candidate and senator from Kentucky, said, landing him big applause at a campaign event. “I don’t think the federal government needs to be involved.”

Later in the interview, Trump seemed to signal that we shouldn’t allow oil and gas companies todrill any new wells on federally-controlled lands because there’s already “so much energy”:

You can read the entire interview here.

President Obama drops in on secret meeting with reporters

http://twitter.com/#!/jnomina/status/344539833890381825

BuzzFeed wasn’t invited, which is probably the only reason we now know that President Obama had a secret meeting with selected members of the press on Monday afternoon. Is it possible the meeting was the administration’s Plan B following Attorney General Eric Holder’s lightly attended off-the-record media summit in May? The New York Times declined to attend that meeting, and BuzzFeed reports that New York Times reporter Peter Baker might not have gone to Monday’s meeting either if he’d known that President Obama would drop in to say hi — after reporters had agreed to keep things off the record.

What’s creepy about that? At least the windows are still transparent … for now.
