Sedition! Some Dems reportedly join Sen. Shaheen in calling for O-care delay

http://twitter.com/#!/baseballcrank/status/393104331034984448

Rut-roh …

http://twitter.com/#!/JohnEkdahl/status/393105017139646464

What’s she done, exactly? Well, she’s asking the Obama administration to extend the open enrollment period:

http://twitter.com/#!/JohnEkdahl/status/392818273269862400

From Sen. Shaheen’s letter to the president:

Given the existing problems with the website, I urge you to consider extending open enrollment beyond the current end date of March 31, 2014.  Allowing extra time for consumers is critically important so they have the opportunity to become familiar with the website, survey their options and enroll.

Further, in light of the difficulties individuals may be having with enrolling through healthcare.gov, I ask that you clarify how the individual responsibility penalty will be administered and enforced.  If an individual is unable to purchase health insurance due to technical problems with enrollment, they should not be penalized because of lack of coverage.

And she’s not alone. Take a look at this:

http://twitter.com/#!/ChadPergram/status/393118445413220352 http://twitter.com/#!/SenMarkPryor/status/393129594015870977

Sen. Joe Manchin is also reportedly on-board with a delay:

http://twitter.com/#!/Hadas_Gold/status/393124525052674048

B-b-but … it’s the law!

http://twitter.com/#!/JohnEkdahl/status/393114625178603520

Or is it?

http://twitter.com/#!/SBroadie/status/393130768827809792 http://twitter.com/#!/amandacarpenter/status/393122103421333505

Sure is funny how that works.

http://twitter.com/#!/BDayspring/status/393130304623640576

Even if Democrats start showing more interest in a delay, they still have a lot to answer for:

http://twitter.com/#!/BDayspring/status/393123590826364928 http://twitter.com/#!/SteveWorks4You/status/393127151823646720

Oh, we remember.

And we can learn from this. Amanda Carpenter, Sen. Cruz’s senior communications adviser, has a message for the Democrats — and for us:

http://twitter.com/#!/amandacarpenter/status/393125049198080000 http://twitter.com/#!/amandacarpenter/status/393125972163043328 http://twitter.com/#!/amandacarpenter/status/393128415768739840

Amen.

Meet the U.S. Army’s brand-new laser cannon

http://twitter.com/#!/trumanboyes/status/507999557993914368

Yes, please (not for cooking burritos though):

http://twitter.com/#!/WIRED/status/507974972963581952

We didn’t understand fog could be an impediment to a laser cannon, but it is advisable that you understand.

Here’s video regarding the laser for action:

( function() { var func = function() { var iframe_form = document.getElementById(‘wpcom-iframe-form-4bd52ee62501e62e73c527f9c38d6e34-540b2f10232a7’); var iframe = document.getElementById(‘wpcom-iframe-4bd52ee62501e62e73c527f9c38d6e34-540b2f10232a7’); if ( iframe_form && iframe ) { iframe_form.submit(); iframe.onload = function() { iframe.contentWindow.postMessage( { ‘msg_type’: ‘poll_size’, ‘frame_id’: ‘wpcom-iframe-4bd52ee62501e62e73c527f9c38d6e34-540b2f10232a7’ }, window.location.protocol + ‘//wpcomwidgets.com’ ); } } // Autosize iframe var funcSizeResponse = purpose( age ) { var source = document.createElement( ‘a’ ); origin.href = age.origin; // Verify message origin if ( ‘wpcomwidgets.com’ !== source.host ) return; // Verify message is in a format we anticipate if ( ‘object’ !== typeof e.data || undefined === e.data.msg_type ) return; switch ( e.data.msg_type ) { instance ‘poll_size:response’: var iframe = document.getElementById( e.data._request.frame_id ); if ( iframe && ” === iframe.width ) iframe.width = ‘100%’; if ( iframe && ” === iframe.height ) iframe.height = parseInt( e.data.height ); return; default: return; } } if ( ‘function’ === typeof screen.addEventListener ) { screen.addEventListener( ‘message’, funcSizeResponse, untrue ); } else if ( ‘function’ === typeof screen.attachEvent ) { screen.attachEvent( ‘onmessage’, funcSizeResponse ); } } if (document.readyState === ‘complete’) { func.apply(); /* compat for infinite scroll */ } else if ( document.addEventListener ) { document.addEventListener( ‘DOMContentLoaded’, func, false ); } else if ( document.attachEvent ) { document.attachEvent( ‘onreadystatechange’, func ); } } )();

A reaction to the brand new tool system has been rather good:

http://twitter.com/#!/kevindepew/status/507975265231052801 http://twitter.com/#!/davelucas/status/507976325492396032

We’re uncertain if a war with is Amazon imminent, but yes, we should utilize this laser to attack Amazon’s emerging drone fleet if it previously comes to that.

And it also’s already been noticed that here is the perfect device the eventual war between guy and monster:

Exit question: How rapidly would it be always “degrade and destroy” ISIS?

Worm-tastic: Dennis Rodman thrilled to be in North Korea, meet Kim Jong-Un

http://twitter.com/#!/dennisrodman/status/306401596546367490

Starving for food, starving for attention … what difference does it make? Former NBA badboy Dennis “The Worm” Rodman, along with a few Harlem Globetrotters, is in the prison country for a film project and a little “basketball diplomacy.” And he’s pretty darn excited to be there:

It’s true, I’m in North Korea.Looking forward to sitting down with Kim Jung Un.I love the people of North Korea. #WORMinNorthKorea

— Dennis Rodman (@dennisrodman) February 26, 2013

They love basketball here. Honored to represent The United States of America. #WORMinNorthKorea

— Dennis Rodman (@dennisrodman) February 26, 2013

Maybe I’ll run into the Gangnam Style dude while I’m here @psy_oppa #WORMinNorthKorea

— Dennis Rodman (@dennisrodman) February 26, 2013

PSY is actually South Korean. Then again, Rodman’s geography skills put him on par with Secretary of State John Kerry, so maybe he has a future in diplomacy after all.

I’m not a politician. Kim Jung Un & North Korean people are basketball fans. I love everyone. Period. End of story. #WORMinNorthKorea

— Dennis Rodman (@dennisrodman) February 26, 2013

Awww! So, does this officially put Rodman in the running for a Nobel Peace Prize?

Dennis Rodman is visiting North Korea. What could possibly go wrong?

— Robert Vertrees (@RockyRob) February 26, 2013

Dennis Rodman and some Harlem Globetrotters are going to North Korea to discuss their nuclear activity and basketball. So America is safe.

— Roy Hanks (@roy_hanks) February 26, 2013

As if tensions with North Korea weren’t strong enough,we are sending them Dennis Rodman in an act of basketball diplomacy #WW3

— Michael Smetana (@mikeysmet29) February 26, 2013

Woke up to this headline: “Dennis Rodman in North Korea for diplomacy.” Immediately went into prayer.

— Gary (@masterwilliams) February 26, 2013

“Well if anyone can mend ties with North Korea, it’s Dennis Rodman.”-no one ever

— Brad Aldous (@bradlicious) February 26, 2013

Dennis Rodman is in North Korea right now…we are living in a simulation ladies and gentleman

— Ryan (@RyanChuck_) February 26, 2013

No, it’s all too real:

The stories are true. @prince_mrketing #WORMinNorthKoreaow.ly/i3Mbz

— Dennis Rodman (@dennisrodman) February 26, 2013

You know what other stories are true, Dennis? The ones about the horrors faced by the North Korean people:

Dear @dennisrodman: Google “North Korea Cannibalism” and then get out of that dangerous country, run by lunatic crackpots

— Cameron Gray (@Cameron_Gray) February 26, 2013

@dennisrodman don’t know what’s more pathetic that u think North Koreans watch American basketball when most of the country has no electric

— Aaron I. Marcus (@AaronIMarcus) February 26, 2013

.@dennisrodman doesnt seem to notice that NK govt starves its people.Theyve resorted to eating eachother.Good job Dennis. #outoftouch

— John B (D) (@SiftingReality) February 26, 2013

Visit the gulags. RT @dennisrodman: I’m not a politician. Kim Jung Un & NK people are basketball fans. I love everyone. Period.End of story.

— Andrew Kaczynski (@BuzzFeedAndrew) February 26, 2013

Moron. RT @dennisrodman: I’m not a politician. Kim Jung Un & NK people are basketball fans. I love everyone. Period.End of story.

— AG (@AG_Conservative) February 26, 2013

@dennisrodman or that you love “everyone” including a man who runs death and slave labor camps for entire families.

— Aaron I. Marcus (@AaronIMarcus) February 26, 2013

Rodman really is a worm.

Update:

PSY sets Rodman straight on where “the Gangnam Style dude” is from:

@dennisrodman I’m from #SOUTH man!!! kk

Zimmerman’s brother pulls out of Piers Morgan’s show over ‘garbage’ tweets

http://twitter.com/#!/piersmorgan/status/356872759269261314

Nobody stands by his garbage more steadfastly than Piers Morgan.

George Zimmerman’s brother, Robert, was scheduled to appear on CNN’s Piers Morgan Live tonight, but has pulled out of the appearance. Zimmerman said the reasons were Morgan’s “garbage” tweets about his brother, and as evidence Zimmerman cited a Twitchy post about Morgan’s idiotic pot stirring:

http://twitter.com/#!/rzimmermanjr/status/356865230845911040

Morgan did find a different guest:

http://twitter.com/#!/piersmorgan/status/356873269703483392

Will Jeantel refer to Morgan as a “creepy-ass cracker”? Only Jeantel, Morgan and his 15 viewers will know for sure.

White House shocked to hear about AP’s phone records being investigated

http://twitter.com/#!/KRenner2/status/334093736474705920

It’s a good thing the White House holds those press briefings, because how else would the President of the United States and his staff learn what’s going on in the world? Obama doesn’t get to watch TV during the day, so he learns about breaking scandals the same time the rest of us do, and sometimes much later. It’s no surprise, then, that White House Press Secretary Jay Carney claims the White House didn’t know anything about Eric Holder and the Justice Department pulling the phone records of AP reporters.

The Department of Justice? That’s just another independent organization, like the IRS or the State Department or the Vice President or @barackobama.

Jay Carney says WH had no knowledge before today’s press reports of Justice Dept attempt to obtain seek phone records of the AP reporters.

— Mark Knoller (@markknoller) May 13, 2013

Carney further says WH “not involved in decisions” involving Justice Dept criminal investigations which “are handled independently” by DOJ.

— Mark Knoller (@markknoller) May 13, 2013

President’s spokesman Carney tonight: “other than press reports, we have no knowledge of any attempt by Justice Dept. to seek (AP records)”

— West Wing Reports (@WestWingReport) May 13, 2013

Carney: “Other than press reports, we have no knowledge of any attempt by the Justice Department to seek phone records of the AP.”

— Roger Simon (@politicoroger) May 13, 2013

Smart Power!™ MT .@jimacostacnn: Carney: we have no knowledge of any attempt by the DOJ to seek phone records of the AP

— ChampionCapua (@ChampionCapua) May 13, 2013

Can u ask Carney what decisions the WH is INVOLVED in?Sounds like NONE. EVER. @markknoller ” WH not involved in decisions” involving DOJ”

— DinahLord (@DinahLord) May 13, 2013

“The buck stops, uh, over there.” MT @jimacostacnn: Carney: we have no knowledge of any attempt by the DOJ to seek phone records of the AP

— Gabriel Malor (@gabrielmalor) May 13, 2013

Carney Re: DOJ/AP: “we know Nothing”. I’m shocked.

— Pistol Pete (@Petemoss51) May 13, 2013

So is Jay Carney now distancing the WH from the DOJ? Doesn’t matter, no one believes anything that liar says @presssec

— gary grams (A) (@garygramscom) May 13, 2013

Jay Carney knows nothing about anything…what an embarrassment

— PAG (@AgingRepublican) May 13, 2013

It seems the White House is involved in nothing.

— Brendan Buck (@Brendan_Buck) May 13, 2013

… and that’s the way they’d like to keep it, thanks.
