The nurse who has contracted Ebola while helping provide care for Thomas Duncan, the Liberian man who died from the virus in Dallas, has been named:

The tweet was brought to the University’s attention after it was highlighted by Deadspin.

Within the past several hours, Patterson deleted his Twitter account.

Dr. Michael Eric Dyson’s claim that Attorney General Eric Holder is “the Moses of our time” was met with an initial wave of shock and disbelief, which Twitchy handily chronicled, along with video proof that we weren’t hearing things. The Twitterverse was quick to correct comedian Chris Rock’s delusion that the president is like “our boss” and “the dad of the country,” and it wasn’t about to let Dyson off easy on his claim that Holder — or any attorney general, ever, for that matter — is the nation’s “chief lawgiver.”

It seems like these days if you’re famous, or even know somebody who’s famous, you can have your own reality show. Some people have enough willpower to turn the money down and avoid having cameramen record every second of their lives. Others just simply can’t say no.

Mrs. Eastwood & Company, a 10-part series that centers on Eastwood’s wife, Dina, and daughters Morgan and Francesca (her mom is Frances Fisher, but she also calls Dina “Mom”), premieres on E! on May 20.

“I know my limitations with Clint so I don’t push him too hard,” Dina told me in an exclusive interview.

Oh God the E reality series following Clint Eastwood's wife and daughters has been greenlit. This is wrong on so many levels.
