‘Full of yourself a lot?’ it is actually @FLOTUS’ action to take Rosa Parks anniversary about Barry [photo]

whenever @BarackObama’s too-hectic to put himself into an excellent historical min, @FLOTUS will joyfully do so for him:

Pssst! Hey, @FLOTUS! That’s not Rosa Parks.

Tomayto, tomahto. Or something like this by doing this.

We desire.

IRS commissioner: Insufficient budget partly to blame for missing emails

http://twitter.com/#!/kesgardner/status/481222059385556993

Testifying before the House Oversight Committee Monday night, IRS Commissioner John Koskinen in part blamed IRS budget cuts and insufficient resources for the missing Lois Lerner emails. He testified that the IRS had looked into expanded server capacity, but that would have cost between $10 and $30 million.

Recently, The Weather Conditions Were Perfect For This Mind-Blowing Phenomenon

Sometimes winter isn’t all that bad.

Case in point: when the sun sets in a cold environment, it reflects against ice crystals that manifest in the air. The collective surface of these ice crystals acts as a mirror to the sun and other light sources (like street lamps), reflecting their light into the image of pillars reaching for the stars.

That’s a lot of sciencey-sounding stuff, but all you really need to know is that light pillars look cool as hell. Check out these pictures taken from people all over the world!

It’s understandable why some people think these are UFOs.

Amazing.

(via My Modern Met)

So even though winter is sometimes a mushy mess of discolored snow on the ground, up in the sky it’s a heavenly light show for the gods. If only there was a way that I could see a light pillar without leaving the warmth of my apartment…

Mona Eltahawy unleashes F-bomb laced tirade on … fellow lefties?

http://twitter.com/#!/monaeltahawy/status/352613434283655168

Mona Eltahawy is not ****ing happy, not one ****ing bit. So all of you ****ers better get out of her ****ing way,  even if you ****ing agree with her on ****ing everything.

Okay, well, almost everything. She’s really throwing a fit after taking a bit of light mockery from a fellow lefties who disagreed with her stand against Mohammed Morsi, mocking her tweets about being exhausted after so many media hits. We brought you that story earlier today, but this is just getting ridiculous. It’s a left-on-left rant so epic that we’re allowing it to spill over into a second post. Do you know how often we do that? Not often, Mona. Not. Often.

The funny thing is that this is one of the few times we will ever agree with Mona on a political issue, and frankly it was brave of her to move back to Egypt to take her stand, but this is just too good. We’d say she’s off her rocker, but we’re starting to question whether she was ever on it.

http://twitter.com/#!/monaeltahawy/status/352600265993625600

Okay … we’ll give you that one.

http://twitter.com/#!/monaeltahawy/status/352600809483153408 http://twitter.com/#!/monaeltahawy/status/352601719223484416 http://twitter.com/#!/monaeltahawy/status/352602126112931841 http://twitter.com/#!/monaeltahawy/status/352602670466465792 http://twitter.com/#!/monaeltahawy/status/352603725023555584 http://twitter.com/#!/monaeltahawy/status/352604555126636544 http://twitter.com/#!/monaeltahawy/status/352605647617003520 http://twitter.com/#!/monaeltahawy/status/352606351991652354 http://twitter.com/#!/monaeltahawy/status/352607321551142912 http://twitter.com/#!/monaeltahawy/status/352608024113840128 http://twitter.com/#!/monaeltahawy/status/352610786394386432 http://twitter.com/#!/monaeltahawy/status/352611872828162048 http://twitter.com/#!/monaeltahawy/status/352615265101545475

While we feel your pain, Mona, we’re just not sure how to say this. Maybe we should just let a tweet do the talking.

http://twitter.com/#!/RobertTheRed12/status/352607389876355072

Yeah, that about sums it up.

Even CNN calls out Obama SuperPAC’s ad; Bill Burton defends to Wolf Blitzer

http://twitter.com/#!/wolfblitzer/status/233227555933671425

Introducing his interview with Bill Burton, the Priorities USA strategist behind the ad linking Mitt Romney to a woman’s cancer death, CNN’s Wolf Blitzer pulled no punches, calling the spot “inaccurate” straight out of the box.

You know the narrative/straw-man has been burned when Wolf Blitzer calls an Obama campaign ad "wrong" and "deceptive"

— Bill (@DefendWallSt) August 8, 2012

Burton, though, wasn’t about to surrender to CNN’s team of fact checkers, saying he “absolutely” stands by the spot.

Bill Burton on CNN says he 'absolutely' stands by dishonest anti-Romney ad featuring woman's cancer death

— Jon Passantino (@passantino) August 8, 2012

And why not stand by it? What “fact” is wrong exactly?

Burton: "What fact in that ad is wrong?" Blitzer: "The impression that you get that he killed her!" http://t.co/vvozb13H

— Joe Pounder (@PounderFile) August 8, 2012

Great exchange on the dubious team obama ad: Wolf: the ad is misleading. Bill Burton: that's your opinion. Wolf: that's everyone's opinion.

— Brendan Buck (@BrendanBuck) August 8, 2012

President Obama earlier this year revealed the biggest mistake of his first term was not telling enough stories, and Priorities USA has apparently taken notice. “The point of this ad is to tell the story of one guy … and the impact [of the layoff] on his life,” Burton explained. “We’re not saying Mitt Romney’s culpable for that.” When Blitzer suggested the impression is certainly there, Burton replied, “I just don’t think that’s true,” adding, “It’s clearly lost on some folks, make no mistake about that.”

Blitzer did suggest that there are people as well who might credit Bain Capital successes like Staples and Sports Authority for saving their health insurance — thereby outing himself as a raving Romney fanboy and CNN as a right-wing network.

CNN just spewing Romney attack ad points against Bill Burton. Wow, CNN CNN is completely a right wing network.

WOLF BLITZER SINGS THE PRAISE OF MITT! OH YES I'M MITT'S GREAT DEFENDER, DEFENDING HIM BETTER THAN FOX. I'LL LIE & YELL, OBAMA GO 2 HELL!

— BayonneBernie (@bayonnebernie) August 8, 2012

@Blackorchid32 wolf blitzer is a romney hack. CNN is desperate for ratings! #Garbage

— Really FORWARD (@realUS232) August 8, 2012

CNN's White House Correspondent repeating Tea Party talking points in attacking Bill Burton….what a crazed nut she is.

— Jeff Gauvin (@JeffersonObama) August 8, 2012

@3ristar @CNN @billburton716 The more Bill smiled and remained cool, the blonde ladies got even more nastier. CNN was exposed as MittHacks.

— AAmom (@AVD911) August 8, 2012

Others found Blitzer and team’s grilling rather thorough.

CNN/Bill Burton grilling was a tougher interview than pretty much any sit-down either presidential candidate has done in a month

— Alex Burns (@aburnspolitico) August 8, 2012

Wolf Blitzer is really turning up the heat on Bill Burton for that ridic ad insinuating Romney's/Bain's involvement in woman's death.

— Ashley (@ashleyharvard94) August 8, 2012

I'm actually impressed by Wolf Blitzer's visceral disgust with Bill Burton. Loved it.

Burton confirmed that the ad hasn’t yet been broadcast but has been shipped and should air this weekend in battleground states.

Following Blitzer’s interview with Burton, Erin Burnett teased the Romney-loving right-wing network’s upcoming segment.

After Blitzer grills Burton, Erin Burnett opens with segment titled: "Romney's accused tax shelter role"
