Hey, President Obama, you know what’s #stillaBFD?

http://twitter.com/#!/jzoinks/status/218719408296693760

Yesterday the Obama campaign celebrated the Supreme Court’s Obamacare ruling in the classiest way possible — by hawking campaign gear that proudly proclaims that Obamacare is “still a BFD.”

Even Uncle Joe omitted the “F” from his BFD reference.

Today’s decision is a really big – important – deal. Find out what it means for you: http://t.co/fSApvV13 –VP

— Vice President Biden (@VP) June 28, 2012

Apparently he didn’t get the memo that “BFD” is now an Obama-approved acronym.

While the White House gloats over its victory at the expense of the American people, conservatives pointed out that there are plenty of things that are an even bigger effing deal. #stillaBFD isn’t trending yet, but it should be.

Drudge headlines, quote put rodeo clown flap in snarky nutshell [pic]

http://twitter.com/#!/TheBrandonMorse/status/367647947514589184

Snark-tastic.

http://twitter.com/#!/L_Wheels/status/367656498077249537

Yep. Distressingly so.

As Twitchy has reported, the outcry over the Obama-mask-wearing rodeo clown has been full of idiocy. How dare anyone slightly mock The One? Because racist! Or whatever. Serious You Guys!

Other Twitter users, including the always great Dennis Miller, help sum it all up:

MacCallum: School canceled at sign of ‘1st snowflake’ but not for Ebola?

http://twitter.com/#!/countryokie1/status/518006380683206656

A man from Liberia remains hospitalized with Ebola in Dallas, Texas, the people in an apartment where he had been staying are being quarantined (kind of), and about 100 people who had contact with the infected man are being monitored.

What about area schools? Martha MacCallum had a priorities question:

Explain to me why we cancel school at the 1st snowflake, but not for #Ebola ? Who loses if the Texas school takes a few days off?

— martha maccallum (@marthamaccallum) October 3, 2014

Are authorities simply not taking the threat seriously enough?

@marthamaccallum Snow does not transform America. . . when will media get it?

— Sarah Moore (@LooneyTunes002) October 3, 2014

@marthamaccallum That would be admitting we got a potentially BIG problem. Allot of citizen may die of Ebola cause by PoliticalCorrectness

— Daniel Foynes (@DanielFoynes) October 3, 2014

@marthamaccallum I don't buy Dr Frieden analysis. CDC doesn't know as much as they think about it. He spins as a politician and is guessing

— Kevin Northcutt (@northcutt2013) October 3, 2014

@marthamaccallum people need to do what is best for their child and not what is best for the schools funding..

— Barbara Carr (@BeYourselfBarb) October 3, 2014

@marthamaccallum Parents should not send their kids to school. None!

— molcuta (@molcuta) October 3, 2014

@marthamaccallum so true . I live here at ground zero and Martha , people are really scared to send their little ones to school.

— Ed Butowsky (@EdButowsky) October 3, 2014

Ebola concerns may not have prompted area school closings, but weather has:

@marthamaccallum Agree! Some Dallas schools are closed today do to power outages, blessing in disquise.Too many ppl downplaying Ebola risk

— brandi (@itsjustboo) October 3, 2014

@marthamaccallum @JaniceDean says lots of Dallas schools closed bcuz storms. Maybe God closed the schools bcuz the superintendent wouldn't?

— Exozone (@Exozone) October 3, 2014

@marthamaccallum mother nature did just that. Dallas ISD closed today. Power outage from big storms yesterday

— Randy Maxwell (@Maxhawk4) October 3, 2014

41 Dallas ISD schools are without power this morning…here is the list http://t.co/iCZDIkcTV4 http://t.co/zL4tgSlfkx

‘We all cried’: Glenn Beck prepares to put beloved dog to sleep; Update: RIP Victor

http://twitter.com/#!/glennbeck/status/315309493414162432

Heartbreaking. This week, Glenn Beck shared with his audience that Victor, his 13-year-old German shepherd, is suffering and the family will have him put to sleep today.

If you’re a long‑time listener of this program, you know that we have been on the verge of losing our dog. Quite honestly it has been a battle where I have felt like the bad guy because my family has not been able to let go and I have been watching my dog… suffer. And I have stood quietly trying to ask, ‘Please, family, let’s let him go.’ My son and I are going to dig his grave on Friday, and Saturday at noon at our home, we’re going to put him to sleep. Sunday we decided to do it, and my son, who is 8, took it exceptionally hard on Sunday. I think the reality truly set in, and we as a family cried all Sunday afternoon and all Sunday night. And we were all down on the floor.

Beck also described Victor as his family’s “best friend” and “guardian.”

Last night and early this morning, Beck tweeted about Victor’s final hours.

Tania just got up to make sure victors blanket was on him. Her first dog. Her first child. What a good mom. What a good boy.

— Glenn Beck (@glennbeck) March 23, 2013

Butterflies have begun. Less than eight hours. He whimpered with the whole family around last night. But one of joy I think. We all cried

— Glenn Beck (@glennbeck) March 23, 2013

Our family returns one of the Lords gifts today. Our Guardian and friend Victor. Rough pain day for him which makes things easier. Blessings

— Glenn Beck (@glennbeck) March 23, 2013

On Tuesday, Beck tweeted this photo:

Sharing a personal story on radio about Victor. http://t.co/5r2YrnYV0G pic.twitter.com/yHTYuXVH5K

— Glenn Beck (@glennbeck) March 19, 2013

Prayers have poured in for Beck and his family.

Keeping @glennbeck's family in my thoughts today as they deal with the loss of their beloved family companion Victor.

— Anthony France (@tonyfro23) March 23, 2013

@glennbeck My heart, thoughts & prayers go out to you and your family. Victor was so blessed to have you, just as you were blessed with him.

— Candii Hobbs (@candii113) March 23, 2013

Update:

Beck tweeted a photo of Victor covered by a quilt sent to him by a listener.

We save all the quilts that people have sent us. We chose this special one for today. Victor's last… http://t.co/YdZh9GEZ1j

— Glenn Beck (@glennbeck) March 23, 2013

RIP Victor.
