‘My boots were on that ground’: Jodi Ernst drops hammer on Bruce Braley

http://twitter.com/#!/SalenaZitoTrib/status/522912300035215360

In what will indisputably go down as one of the most powerful moments of Thursday night’s Iowa senatorial debate in Sioux City, Republican Jodi Ersnt answered a question about putting boots on the ground by reminding her opponent that “my boots were on that ground that is now held by ISIS.”

Valerie Jarrett says it’s a perfect day for a visit to the White House

http://twitter.com/#!/vj44/status/354392787078242304

Indeed it is. That is, if you happen to be a member of the Washington Kastles, a professional tennis team. But there will be no White House visits for the rest of us.

Propaganda film inspires Hugo Chavez fan club to attack Michelle Malkin

http://twitter.com/#!/aleksjedi/status/441408943794180096

Late Wednesday evening, a torrent of bilingual hate tweets choked Twitchy founder Michelle Malkin’s timeline as the unhinged far Left fan club of deceased Venezuelan dictator Hugo Chavez sprung into action to wish her death, among other insults. What inspired them was the release of a documentary by liberal filmmaker Oliver Stone. The film fawns and drools over the rotting, corrupt tyrant:

Apparently he included a clip from Malkin that was critical of Hugo, which many didn’t appreciate:

Translation: “This is the Twitter account of the crazy woman who said in the documentary that no one will miss Chavez, and that he is in hell.”

It’s too bad the brainwashed masses believe everything in the movie. We imagine those rising up against the violence, corruption and mismanagement of Venezuela probably won’t find the film as agreeable.

[Update]

Is this 2013 clip what has them all worked up?

Facebook Data: The Scott Walker Boom Is Real

Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker was talked about 1.2 million times on Facebook last week, a 500% increase from the previous week. But the surge in interactions was accompanied by a drop in positive sentiment.

Scott Walker led the pack of possible Republican presidential contenders for Facebook interactions measured last Monday through Friday, with Texas Sen. Ted Cruz trailing him at 1 million interactions, and former Texas Gov. Rick Perry coming in third at 599,000.

The Wisconsin Republican delivered a well-received speech at a gathering of conservative politicians and activists in Iowa the Saturday prior to his jump in interactions.

Walker is also ahead in a Des Moines Register poll of likely voters in Iowa, leading the crowded Republican field at 14%.
