Twitchy first noticed the strained comedy stylings of author and Salon columnist CJ Werleman when he joked that if the NFL’s Ray Rice continued to abuse women, he’d “end up running the Hobby Lobby.”
The Australian-born Werleman has a serious side too, and as a relatively recent transplant to the United States, he thinks he just might have this whole racism thing figured out.
Nothing scares a white American more than someone who isn't a white American.

Wow. RT @KatMcKinley: Salon writer. Perhaps the stupidest tweet of the month. That's a high bar. https://t.co/HarW0wzLa5
— Heather (@hboulware) September 15, 2014
Oh STFU, Salon. RT @cjwerleman: Nothing scares a white American more than someone who isn't a white American.
— Cuffé (@CuffyMeh) September 15, 2014
Salon is just a bunch of fringe-living whites who USE minorities to keep common decency at bay. @CuffyMeh @instapundit @cjwerleman
— Seamus (@seapirate1) September 15, 2014
@seapirate1 @instapundit @CuffyMeh @cjwerleman Oh look! Salon scrubbed all the lily-white pics off their lily-white management & staff page.
— American Elephant (@AmericnElephant) September 16, 2014
@hboulware @KatMcKinley who is surprised that the "stupidest tweet" award would go to a Salon writer. #SalonIsAJoke
— KNells (@knelligan12) September 15, 2014
@hboulware @instapundit @KatMcKinley nothing scares me more than an unfiltered CJ Werelman. A guy with no mirror in his bathroom.
— mynd yerpeas&queues (@biggestmuddy_65) September 15, 2014
@hboulware @KatMcKinley Is this a comment about ISIS or what? The only terrifying "non-Americans" right now are 7th century primitives.
— CFLancop (@CFLancop) September 15, 2014
Let me tell you, I was COMPLETELY terrified of all those polite, respectful Japanese when I visted Japan in 2007. #WhiteTerror @KatMcKinley
— BattleSwarm (@BattleSwarmBlog) September 15, 2014
@PruPaine He's enlightened.
— Jeff (@SenseOffense) September 15, 2014
@SenseOffense seems like @cjwerleman is trying to force his fears on the rest of us.
— Prudence Paine (@PruPaine) September 15, 2014
@PruPaine Beta male problems. @cjwerleman
— Jeff (@SenseOffense) September 15, 2014
@SenseOffense @cjwerleman must have run out of his low-T stick that morning
— Prudence Paine (@PruPaine) September 15, 2014
@hboulware @instapundit @KatMcKinley He's new to this country, so he can't be expected to know we twice voted for a black president.
— Joel Engel (@joelengel) September 15, 2014
@hboulware @KatMcKinley This is the genesis of a new saying: " Never go full-Salon-Writer."
— Brian L. Krueger (@BrianForLiberty) September 15, 2014
@hboulware @KatMcKinley http://t.co/BV7cUfKsja is an embarrassment to bloggers everywhere.
— #Capitalist Ramses (@niebais1) September 15, 2014
.@cjwerleman How cute, @Salon gave an Aussie a job to talk shit about Americans. @PruPaine
— Jeff (@SenseOffense) September 15, 2014
@SenseOffense @cjwerleman most uncool Australian ever. Guess even they have their jerks. He's afraid of anyone that's not a meathead.
— Prudence Paine (@PruPaine) September 15, 2014
@cjwerleman I'm afraid of being locked in a room with "Blurred Lines" playing on endless loop.
