Sometimes it seems like the debate over whether or not we’re alone in the universe will never be settled. First you have someone claim to encounter a UFO, then you have people go and debunk that claim, and the cycle repeats itself over and over again.
What could settle the whole argument once and for all would be some physical evidence of aliens, which is where the story of Bob White comes in.
In 1985, White and a friend of his were driving from Denver to Las Vegas. They were the only ones on the road as they neared the Utah-Colorado border.
That’s when they saw it: a blinding white light in the sky about 100 yards in front of them.
That’s when they pulled the car over and stared in awe as the object silently floated up and joined with a pair of tubular lights. White suspects that this was a mothership of some kind. Once the UFO was docked with the bigger ship, it zoomed off into the distance until it was out of sight.
That’s when White and his friend noticed some debris falling to the ground.
The object (pictured above) was red hot when White found it. In the years since his encounter, White has spent upwards of $60k having the object analyzed and tested.
So far, the tests have yielded very little evidence that the object is of alien origin. The only confirmed finding is that it’s mostly made of aluminum.

Still, that hasn’t stopped White from believing that what he saw that night was from another world. He has vowed to continue testing and retesting the artifact until he finds a way to prove where it came from.
