9-year-old Boy Was Unwrapping His Present…
Emotional video of a woman protesting the abuse of her…chicken
Yes eggs. Here’s a must-see video of a woman named Kelly Atlas of the animal rights group Direct Action Everywhere who invaded the Bluestem Brasserie in San Francisco and tearfully scolded diners for eating eggs:
On Saturday I told my little girl's story inside a place where they'd say she's just an object: http://t.co/MOX5uxx1vU #disruptspeciesism

She’s mad that diners are laughing at her. For real. Read these tweets and you’ll laugh, too:
@kellyemilyatlas @DxEverywhere She is an object. To be baked, fried, grilled. #firedchicken #bbqchicken

You DO know you're a few egg salad sammich's short of a picnic right? lol @kellyemilyatlas http://t.co/8DVGoeKNFZ #disruptspeciesism

Just a few eggs short?
In the video, Atlas cries to diners about eating “somebody else’s eggs.” Which raises this obvious question:
.@kellyemilyatlas Serious question for you – Are you pro-abortion?
— Kimberly Morin (@Conservativeind) October 4, 2014
We all know the answer to that. Pro-choice on abortion is different than pro-choice at breakfast: scrambled, fried, poached, etc.
This Fairly Normal House Is For Sale In The UK. But It’s What’s Out Back That Has Everyone Talking.
When people are looking to buy a house, most of them have mental checklists. They’ll want granite countertops, an open floor plan and lots of counter space. Some people hate split-level houses. Some prefer carpet over hardwood floors and vice versa. Everyone has different tastes. No matter how picky a house hunter is, though, they would never know how to react to this house in Birmingham, UK. It has a feature that you’ll either love or hate… but you’d never expect.
This is a 4 bedroom house that is listed for sale on rightmove.co.uk.
It is semi-detached and quite pretty on the inside.
There is a living room with a fireplace.
A large, gorgeous kitchen.
A master bedroom…
Complete with a master bath.
There is even a beautiful conservatory out back, perfect for Sunday brunch.
The backyard is also quite large. But … hey… what’s that?
Is that what I think it is?
IT IS. There is a PUB in the back yard.
There is a finished bar in the yard, complete with “ceiling spot lights, bar with rear optic shelves, tables, chairs and stools, pool and darts area, and doors into two large storage rooms with lighting and power.”
Did you hear that? A pool table.
It’s a beautiful 4 bedroom house, complete with bar. If you live in Birmingham, there is no reason why you shouldn’t put an offer in on this house. Even if you already own one. Source: rightmove.co.uk More people need to learn to design houses like this. Share this story with your friends.

Something So Cool Happened When A Car Went Speeding Past These Dogs
We could go on for days about all of the characteristics that make dogs so incredible, since they’re loyal, they’re loving, and they’re hilarious. There’s a reason why they’re known as man’s best friend, and if you have a dog in your family, you know that there’s nothing they wouldn’t do to make their humans happy.
But did you know that they’re just as dedicated to their fellow canines as they are to us? Just ask this dog. While these two pups were out walking one day, the bigger one saved its smaller pal from meeting a heartbreaking fate.
It’s not like we needed further proof that dogs are the best, but footage like this certainly doesn’t hurt! It seems like there’s nothing they can’t do when their instincts kick in.

Next first spouse tells Andrea Mitchell why 2016 is no 2008
Is it ironic that long-time Clinton cheerleader Andrea Mitchell is asking Bill Clinton how Hillary’s run for president has changed between 2008 and 2016? Perhaps Mitchellthinks there’s more she could do to help this time around.
Bill Clinton stressed that 2016 won’t be a repeat of 2008, unless of course Bernie Sanders manages to come out of nowhere and defeat Hillary. That won’t happen again, though, because Hillary and Barack Obama had “enormous overlap” in their issues, with Hillary carrying the extra burden of Bill and their shared scandals.
Aside from the flipping of quarters in Iowa, technology has almost completely transformed the campaigning process, and Hillary Clinton is getting pretty handy with technologies like the fax machine, the iPhone, and the shredder. What else has changed?
And point. It’s 2016, and the video clip shows that Bill Clinton still points at people who ask him uncomfortable questions.

The Love Story Behind Alabama’s First Legally Married Same-Sex Couple
When Tori Sisson and Shanté Wolfe first met on the floor of an apartment party, they had no way of knowing they were on their way to making history — together. Shanté Wolf shares her side of the story with BuzzFeed News.
1. Tori Sisson and her partner, Shanté Wolfe, became the first same-sex couple to get married in Montgomery, Alabama, on Monday morning.
3. “It felt like the first time for me,” 21-year-old Shanté told BuzzFeed News about the moment she saw her girlfriend and recited her vows outside the Montgomery County Courthouse.
“I saw her in her outfit while we were outside at the courthouse and we said our vows. I was just taken aback because I get to wake up to that every morning.”
5. The couple spent the night in a tent outside the courthouse in hopes they would be among the first couples to file a marriage license. “It’s surreal, it still hasn’t hit me yet,” says Shanté.
7. “All that night people would come by and drop off candy and drop off water. There was one couple that patrolled the block to make sure we were OK.”
9. BuzzFeed News spoke with Shanté to hear her side of the events that led up to this “magical, overwhelming, and humbling” day:
11. The couple first met at an apartment party over two years ago. They had no way of knowing that one day they would live in that same apartment as a married couple.
“We’ve been playing this subconscious game of cat and mouse for seven years. My sister went to her alma mater and actually my sister stayed at her old apartment. Literally, we’ve been a step behind each other for years,” says Shanté. “We met for the first time and I asked her a million and one questions.”
13. At that party, the group played an icebreaker game where everyone picked an adjective to describe themselves using the first letter of their first name. And so, Subtle Shanté and Tornado Tori met for the very first time.
“I honestly did that just to get her attention […] I didn’t know if I would meet her again,” says Shanté.
15. A month later, after a few other brief interactions, Tori asked if she could “kidnap” Shanté — code for: Can I take you on a date? “Obviously it worked out: We were camped out all last night” jokes Shanté.
.
17. The couple actually held a commitment ceremony a year ago this very month, but still wanted the legal protections of a marriage ceremony.
19. “A lot of people said, ‘Why don’t you go to New York,’ or wherever. We weren’t going to pack up and move umpteen miles just to get a license, only come to back to Alabama. We said, ‘We are going to stay.'”
21. Their advice to couples still waiting to be married? “Don’t give up the fight; it’s not over.”
23. Shanté and Tori plan to hold another ceremony with friends and family who weren’t able to come down on such short notice. They are also in the process of planning a honeymoon.
