Richard Falk calls Boston bombing ‘blowback’ for American domination

http://twitter.com/#!/jpodhoretz/status/327176458390888448

Princeton University professor emeritus Richard Falk, who earlier this week called the Boston Marathon bombings retribution for “the American global domination project,” is described as the United Nations’ special rapporteur on human rights in the Palestinian territories. What’s a rapporteur? A quick check of Twitter suggests it might be some form of circus performer or perhaps a feminine hygiene product.

UN assclown Richard Falk needs to be deported to Dagestan…BAN THE UN NOW!!

— Clowns to the Left (@Chuck_Rohrbach) April 24, 2013

Co-sign… also, ass-clown.RT @mrossletters: If you try really hard, an anagram for Richard Falk is “Ass Hat”.

— Maximus (@MaxVenator) April 24, 2013

Douchebag, too. If you try really hard “@mrossletters: If you try really hard, an anagram for Richard Falk is “Ass Hat”.”

— Christopher Walton (@CWalton_67) April 24, 2013

Richard Falk what a turd.

— D. Lola Ebner (@DSimster) April 24, 2013

Richard Falk is a douche. Really????

— jana (@jana_jc36808) April 24, 2013

In his post at the Foreign Policy Journal, Falk wrote that “as long as Tel Aviv has the compliant ear of the American political establishment, those who wish for peace and justice in the world should not rest easy,” and he urged Americans to mediate on a line by poet W.H. Auden: “Those to whom evil is done/Do evil in return.”

“the American global domination project is bound to generate all kinds of resistance in the post-colonial world.” Richard Falk

— Troy Griffith (@Trilll_Cosby) April 24, 2013

“How many canaries will have to die…before we awaken from our geopolitical fantasy of global domination?” Richard Falk

— Troy Griffith (@Trilll_Cosby) April 24, 2013

United States Ambassador to the United Nations Susan Rice denounced Falk’s comments.

Outraged by Richard Falk’s highly offensive Boston comments. Someone who spews such vitriol has no place at the UN. Past time for him to go.

— Susan Rice (@AmbassadorRice) April 24, 2013

If spewing vitriol against Israel and the U.S. were a disqualifier, the United Nations building would empty out pretty quickly. But if even Rice believes it’s past time for Falk to go, why is he still there at the U.N.? Couldn’t he quietly fall back on his Ivy League teaching career?

It’s truly a tragedy that Richard Falk continues to hold a UN position: jpost.com/International/…

— Daniel Odrezin (@dkodrezin) April 24, 2013

Seriously, how’s a crackpot like Richard Falk (bit.ly/17TaIcA) still employed by a UN that gets 22% of its budget from US taxpayers?

— Avi Mayer (@avimayer) April 24, 2013

@oreillyfactor Who pays Richard Falk’s salary? How much does he make at the UN to disparage the USA? #greta

— Carole Gilman (@CaroleGilman) April 24, 2013

Why is an anti-semite and HATEFUL person like Richard Falk part of the UN? Hate is the opposite of united. #canarienews.yahoo.com/obama-admin-sl…

— Joshua Keller Katz (@joskelkat) April 24, 2013

A query: to most Americans, would rational response to Richard Falk’s rantings be (a) to defund the U.N.; (b) abolish tenure?

— Carl Cannon (@CarlCannon) April 24, 2013

This just gets better and better, I have a question, why does this guy still have a job?… fb.me/21DZXyR6b

— Marcus Klim (@PoliticTee) April 24, 2013

How Richard Falk & James Tracy are employed by some of the most respected Universities in the world is absolutely beyond me. A disgrace.

— Daniel Moldovan (@dmoldovan88) April 24, 2013

$60K/yr to study with Richard Falk?!#PincetonDisgrace #SickIvy jpost.com/International/…

Rep. Steve Stockman zings ‘Democrats’ history of inhumanity’

http://twitter.com/#!/ReElectStockman/status/354396175392190467

Texas Sen. Ted Cruz has a reputation for zinging his political opponents on Twitter, but his contribution today to the ongoing fight over proposed abortion restrictions in Texas was reasonably subdued and consisted of a link to his sober written testimony. “I submit to you,” Cruz wrote, “that this legislation is a reasonable step to take after the disturbing revelations of Gosnell, and others.”

http://twitter.com/#!/SenTedCruz/status/354391142302883840

Rep. Steve Stockman, however, pulled no punches in his tweets today, handily enraging abortion advocates with a series of posts in support of S.B. 1.
