‘Real reporter’ Terry Moran gets worked up over ‘secret’ Romney video, blogger sets him straight
http://twitter.com/#!/sistertoldjah/status/247896303256891392Last night, following the revelations about Mitt Romney’s oh-so-scandalous remarks on the 47 percent of Americans who don’t pay federal income tax, ABC News’ Terry Moran worked himself into a bit of tizzy. He had a difficult time grasping the concept of what Romney had said, that a large percentage of Americans are content to remain on the government dole. “Just a blogger” Sister Toldjah took some time to set him straight:@sistertoldjah 92% of Americans say hard work is the key to success. Look around at our country. Hardest-working people on earth.— Terry Moran (@TerryMoran) September 18, 2012@TerryMoran look at #OWS, & “war on women” meme, & the battle over Obamacare & seniors. Ppl being victims. That’s half of America, Terry.— Stacey-SisterToldjah (@sistertoldjah) September 18, 2012@TerryMoran politicos paint themselves as “saviors” of ppl “victimized by society.” Some ppl start believing it. This is a cold reality.— Stacey-SisterToldjah (@sistertoldjah) September 18, 2012@sistertoldjah Plus, most government benefits go to GOP voters. You can look it up. But the vast majority of Americans hustle. That’s us.— Terry Moran (@TerryMoran) September 18, 2012@TerryMoran you look it up. This is not abt hustle. This is abt a segment of society conditioned to feel like victims by ppl who want power.— Stacey-SisterToldjah (@sistertoldjah) September 18, 2012@sistertoldjah Maybe if you reported on the ground around the country, you’d have more patriotism about our people.— Terry Moran (@TerryMoran) September 18, 2012@TerryMoran questioning my patriotism is out of line. I love the US & independence & want less 2 feel like victims & more to thrive w/o govt— Stacey-SisterToldjah (@sistertoldjah) September 18, 2012.@TerryMoran questioned my patriotism because I want fellow citizens who believe they are victims to rise above & thrive w/o nanny statism.— Stacey-SisterToldjah (@sistertoldjah) September 18, 2012@sistertoldjah Sister, seniors vote GOP. Married women, too. OWS showed they are a minority. Most middle-class Americans work really hard.— Terry Moran (@TerryMoran) September 18, 2012@TerryMoran I AM middle class as is my family, Terry, but even in my own family some play victim cards. I want them to do better than that.— Stacey-SisterToldjah (@sistertoldjah) September 18, 2012@sistertoldjah “A segment.” 47%? Do you really have such little faith in your fellow Americans? Vets? College students? Single moms?Seniors?— Terry Moran (@TerryMoran) September 18, 2012@TerryMoran isn’t abt faith. Most ppl want to work. Within that are those conditioned by politicos to feel like victims. We can do better.— Stacey-SisterToldjah (@sistertoldjah) September 18, 2012@sistertoldjah That’s paternalism. Most people think for themselves just as well as you or I do.— Terry Moran (@TerryMoran) September 18, 2012@TerryMoran no it’s not. Ppl over time hear the same thing from politicos abt needing to be rescued. It sinks in. It happened to me.No more.— Stacey-SisterToldjah (@sistertoldjah) September 18, 2012@TerryMoran why do you think it’s unpatriotic for me to want ALL to thrive w/o nanny statism? That’s real freedom, & you should support it.— Stacey-SisterToldjah (@sistertoldjah) September 18, 2012@sistertoldjah All of us want that. But to believe nearly half of your fellow citizens think they’re victims? That sells America shortly.— Terry Moran (@TerryMoran) September 18, 2012@TerryMoran what has sold U.S. short are politicos who use victim/savior rhetoric. It’s politicos who don’t have faith in citizens, not me.— Stacey-SisterToldjah (@sistertoldjah) September 18, 2012@sistertoldjah Anyway, thank you for a spirited and smart discussion.— Terry Moran (@TerryMoran) September 18, 2012Did I just go through that? Bizarre how it’s even necessary to explain how U want ppl to reject nanny statism, & instead thrive as individuals.— Stacey-SisterToldjah (@sistertoldjah) September 18, 2012Yes. Yes, you did. And we thank you.Read more: http://twitchy.com/2012/09/18/real-reporter-terry-moran-gets-worked-up-over-secret-romney-video-blogger-sets-him-straight/
