Kentucky Lawmakers Limit Ebony Lung Reports Ratings Despite Epidemic

Severe black lung disease deeply scarred  the lung of a 61-year-old West Virginia coal miner, which was removed as part of a lung transplant.

There is a modification of Kentucky legislation that leaves diagnoses associated with the life-threatening coal miners’ disease black colored lung mainly in the hands of physicians whom usually work for coal businesses.
