Handcarved, Handpainted Wooden Pumpkins S/2 Fall/Halloween/Thanksgiving.
My mom LOVED pumpkins. As soon as September hit she’d decorate the whole house with all sorts of pumpkins, plug in pumpkin spice air fresheners and bake her delicious pumpkin bread (I have the recipe just so so I can make it now). She passed away last year and I’m helping my dad clean out her things.
This is a set of 2 hand carved, hand painted pumpkins she picked up at a craft fair (she loved those too and always found something unique to add to her collection). I love the markings on them – very subtle and just enough to add some depth to them. The little hearts add a bit of charm in addition to the traditional greenery/garnish. They’re in perfect condition, no nicks, dings, gouges or scratches. I have a set of these myself. They’re an easy way to decorate for fall, simple and they don’t take up a lot of space. They can be used all season long too.
They each measure approximately 4”H x 3.5”W x 0.75”thick.
