UNC’s Marshall wins Cousy Award for best point guard

Congratulations to the University of North Carolina’s Kendall Marshall, who won this year’s Bob Cousy Award for the outstanding point guard in the nation. Marshall set a conference record for assists that was the fourth best performance in NCAA history. He was a second team all-ACC selection, mostly because he is a “pass first” point guard, but he was a sophomore this year, which means he has plenty of time to develop a better scoring touch.

President Obama has a track record of finding out about controversial things from “news reports,” (for example, the IRS scandal). That’s why nobody should be shocked that the Obama administration is claiming they found out about the HealthCare.gov disaster from news reports as well. However, the Washington Post’s Ezra Klein was nevertheless surprised:
