Don’t tell anyone this, but there are some rumors in certain circles that Hillary Clinton might be considering a run for president in 2016. Speaking at an event in Massachusetts today, the former secretary of state seemed to be trying to head off possible competitor Elizabeth Warren by hijacking her line that it’s not corporations and businesses that create jobs.
For those who just can’t stomach 65 seconds of video of Clinton right now, she tells the audience, “Don’t let anybody tell you that, you know, it’s corporations and businesses that create jobs.”
They come from raising the minimum wage, silly.

Ms. Jones’ tweets echo Bill Cosby’s famous “Pound Cake” speech into NAACP in 2004, calling for blacks to keep themselves and kids accountable for their actions. It’s refreshing to know any celebrity talk these types of good sense (but unfortunate that it’s so newsworthy and remarkable).
Personal responsibility and stability tend to be targets we have to all strive for, and kudos to Jones for distributing such an important message.

If The Apocalypse Begins And You’re Still On Earth, This Is Exactly Where You Need To Go. Trust Me.
Thanks to the Internet and other digital media, an impending apocalypse or “doomsday” is on a lot of people’s minds. Shows like Doomsday Preppers encourage people to prepare for the end of days any way they can. Most of us might have trouble finding the perfect fallout shelter for the apocalypse, but people near these 10 locations are lucky. They live beside the perfect apocalyptic safe house.
1.) Mount Weather (Virginia): This is a civilian command facility and it’s also used as center of operations for FEMA. If the President or FEMA were to make an announcement over the Emergency Alert System, it would likely come from here.
There is a protected underground portion of Mount Weather, but there are also numerous fortified buildings above ground.
2.) Cheyenne Mountain (Colorado): This mountain complex is located deep in 2,000 feet of granite. This facility was originally designed to withstand a 5 megaton nuclear explosion up to 1.7 miles away. During the event of a nuclear apocalypse, there really isn’t a safer place in Colorado.
This complex is fairly well known, so in the event of a disaster, you may want to be on guard for people seeking it out.
3.) Raven Rock Mountain Complex (Pennsylvania-Maryland): This site was meant to be used as a relocation site for the pentagon staff, fitting up to 3,000 people. There are five, 3-story buildings in the complex.
The facilities includes: several underground reservoirs, a high-tech ventilation system, fire department, dental clinic, medical clinic, dining facility, post office, snack bar, dormitories, chapel, barber shop, fitness center and even a Starbucks.
4.) The Moscow Metro (Russia): Deep under Moscow, there is a subway system… but also much more. There is a large subterranean system of secrets trains and bunkers beneath the city, most of which was built by Stalin during the Cold War. It’s the perfect place to hide and defend your territory (if you happen to be overseas).
5.) Iron Mountain (Massachusetts): This underground fortress wasn’t officially built to be a survival bunker, but you wouldn’t be able to guess it. It takes up 10,000 square feet of space in a 1,000 acre limestone mine. It’s rumored to be one of the most secure locations in the world.
The company, originally founded in 1951, is an enterprise information management services company (contrary to what you may believe by just looking at the place).
6.) The Greenbrier Bunker (Virginia): In 1958, the United States government agreed to build this luxury hotel a brand new addition, in exchange they were also allowed to build a 120,000 square foot bunker beneath it. The bunker was a top-guarded secret until it was outed in the 1990s, and was decommissioned after that. It’s still there, though, waiting to be your hideout.
7.) Burlington Bunker (UK): 100 feet beneath the surface of Corsham, there is a 35 acre cold war city known as the Burlington Bunker. Code named “Burlington”, the British government built this site in 1950. They built the bunker in case of nuclear strike and was intended to be the Emergency Government War Headquarters.
The shelter was designed to accommodate 6,000 people for 3 months.
There is an underground lake and water treatment facility as well, so people could live here for much longer than 3 months.
It was decommissioned in 2005.
But you know this entire underground city is just waiting to protect you and your loved ones during the apocalypse.
8.) The Shanghai Complex (China): There aren’t many details known about this facility, but what was made public is pretty awesome. In 2006, The Shanghai Morning Post announced the completion of a million square foot bunker capable of housing up to 200,000 people. This is the largest capacity bunker in existence (if it exists). This shelter was designed to withstand blast, nuclear radiation and poisionous gas emissions. It’s perfect… but really, really far away.
9.) Denver International Airport (Colorado): The Denver International Airport is one of the nations largest and busiest new airports. It covers over 53 square miles, stands high by itself on a plane and is relatively isolated. There are rumors that a bunker was built beneath or near the airport, with many strange facts backing this claim (such as budget far exceeding original projections).
Not only that, but 5 buildings were built “incorrectly” and the new buildings were just placed on top of them.
10.) Svalbard Global Seed Vault (Norway): This large vault is located in the remote arctic of Norway, only 810 miles away from the North Pole. This seed vault is designed to store and protect countless types of seeds, almost acting as a Noah’s Ark for vegetation.
The vault stretches deep within a mountain, so if you can make it to Norway, you’d be pretty safe.

Rescued Baby Elephant Plays With A Ribbon At A Park. My Heart Just Melted.
At the Elephant Nature Park sanctuary in Thailand a recently rescued elephant named Faa Mai was given an elastic ribbon to play with. You might not think that elephants (or animals in general) have feelings. When you see what little Faa Mai did, it will keep you smiling for hours…!

Elephants are extremely intelligent and sensitive animals. An elephant’s brain is actually similar to a humans, in complexity and in structure. Just by watching Faa Mai play with a ribbon, I know that I’m completely convinced of their emotional range.
