A reminder that some of those we are led to be educated, i.e. college professors, only practice in theory and have not ever engaged in what they profess to know, and how many, "uneducated schmucks", have gone on to become successful beyond anybody's dreams.

A Dangerfield classic!
This is undoubtedly Rodney Dangerfield's best film and I believe, a true comic classic that continues to appeal to the young(er) generations, as well as those of us who saw it the first (or second) time around. It is about a self-made millionaire who joins his son in his freshman year of college to boost his confidence and help him "fit in" better. Basically, he just wants his son be happy and successful. At the same time he manages to redecorate the dorm, show off his famous dive for the swim team, find romance and quickly become the most popular "freshman" on campus. Of course, it contains many of Dangerfield's classically obnoxious one-liners, thus the PG-13 rating and also features an appearance by Sam Kennison. Hands down - Rodney Dangerfield's best movie is Back to School. This movie is absolutely hilarious. It tracks Rodney Dangerfield's - a retired millionaire - venture back into college as he tries to pass English, dive for the swim team, reunite with his son, fall in love, etc. Rodney is perfect as the "I'm too good for you" smarta**. This is really an excellent movie that is wildly entertaining, sarcastic and funny. Enjoy! Back to School Quotes: Diane: How would you characterize "The Great Gatsby"? Thornton Melon: He was... uh... great! Thornton Melon: Bring us a pitcher of beer every seven minutes until somebody passes out.
