Talk about what you want to do that day. With this set in your mind, go out and make the day go the way you planned.\n\nA great method of minimizing your anxiety is keeping yourself constantly busy. When you have no interests or work to do, your mind may wander. Find something to keep your body and mind occupied. Simple things, like washing your car or cleaning up around the house, can be of great help.\n\nSitting and dwelling on what makes you anxious will make your worries worse instead of better. These type of people are more likely to cause you stress and increase your anxiety.\n\nReduce your consumption of nicotine and alcohol. Despite the common belief that these substances are relaxing, they aren’t. In fact, using these substances can lead to a lot more anxiety than was there to begin with. Use healthier relaxation techniques and a healthier diet instead.\n\nWhat is that one thing which can help get rid of anxiety from your life? Smiling and laughing go a long way towards managing and combating anxiety. Take a look around and find all those things that you can be thankful and cheerful to have in your life. The next time you start to feel anxious, think about something funny or happy; for example, a comedy show or your favorite song.\n\nSchedule time each day to think about your worries and doubts.
