Don’t tell anyone this, but there are some rumors in certain circles that Hillary Clinton might be considering a run for president in 2016. Speaking at an event in Massachusetts today, the former secretary of state seemed to be trying to head off possible competitor Elizabeth Warren by hijacking her line that it’s not corporations and businesses that create jobs.
For those who just can’t stomach 65 seconds of video of Clinton right now, she tells the audience, “Don’t let anybody tell you that, you know, it’s corporations and businesses that create jobs.”
They come from raising the minimum wage, silly.
Has she ever?
Planet Hillary?

Star Jones, previous host associated with the see, had lunch with Beverly Bond, DJ and founder of Ebony Girls Rock!, about “the picture of women of shade within the media.”
After the meal, she published these tweets:
It might be "comfortable" is peaceful when women of color slap the crap out-of one another & find tables barefoot, but #ENOUGHisENOUGH.
— Celebrity Jones (@StarJonesEsq) April 24, 2012
Laying with a guy that has fathered kiddies with FIVE, SIX, SEVEN other women…is simply RIDICULOUS. #ENOUGHisENOUGH
— Celebrity Jones (@StarJonesEsq) April 24, 2012
After that we now have songs filled up with misogyny, self-hate & WOMEN calling THEMSELVES Bs & Hs & white rappers are using the N word. #ENOUGHisENOUGH
— Celebrity Jones (@StarJonesEsq) April 24, 2012
We came ultimately back from lunch w/ @BEVERLYBOND prepared to only work up because small black colored girls deserve a lot more than exactly what we're providing! #ENOUGHisENOUGH

— Celebrity Jones (@StarJonesEsq) April 24, 2012
Ms. Jones’ tweets echo Bill Cosby’s famous “Pound Cake” speech into NAACP in 2004, calling for blacks to keep themselves and kids accountable for their actions. It’s refreshing to know any celebrity talk these types of good sense (but unfortunate that it’s so newsworthy and remarkable).
Personal responsibility and stability tend to be targets we have to all strive for, and kudos to Jones for distributing such an important message.

The Almighty might not appreciate being dragged into the mess that is the Obamacare rollout, but Joe Biden has promised that HealthCare.gov would be repaired with some help from on high. Today, according to a pool report, Biden made God part of the administration’s “tech surge”:

We thought we had settled this back in 2010, when PBS’ Tavis Smiley revealed to Ayaan Hirsi Ali that Christians commit terrorist acts “every single day in this country.” Maybe Christians aren’t the most violent of religions, though. Thursday, CNN’s Don Lemon asked his panel, “Is Islam a more violent religion than other faiths?”
As the Daily Caller, which has video of the segment, reports, only Islamic Monthly editor Arsalan Iftikhar disagreed, citing Christian bombings of gay nightclubs and abortion clinics in the United States as proof.
So, let’s settle this: is Islam a more violent religion than other faiths?

They are on the short list of finalists for the Mars One project.
Over 200,000 people applied for a seat on the four-person spaceship set to travel to Mars in 2024. There are currently 660 finalists. The mission is a one-way trip, and those who are selected to go will never return to Earth. Meet three of the finalists hoping to make the historic journey, and hear their fascinating stories and very personal reasons for wanting to be a part of this epic adventure.
“I think the most important thing to do in life is to leave a legacy. A lot of people do that by, say, having a child or having a family. For me, this would be my legacy. To try and find if there’s life on Mars, to inspire a new generation, to lead to the beginnings of the first civilization on another planet. That is my legacy.”
“If I ever made it to Mars, it’s gonna be the same experience as me coming to the United States. Going back is not an option, never. I don’t feel like I need a family to be able to survive and exist.”
“I think this world is not a good place to live anymore. We have so many disease, we have so many Army conflicts, we have natural disasters, we have inequities. We have so many problems that I believe it is not possible to solve. I would like to see a better world comparing to this one and I think a good way to solve those problems is to start from the beginning.”
“One can think he’s committing suicide, but it’s not suicide. Quite the contrary, he goes there because it is God’s mission. It is humanity’s mission.”
“If it does come to that moment, then I will tell him how much I love him. I will certainly cuddle him, I will kiss him. Then I will tell him to enjoy his life and never, ever forget how much he’s loved.”
“Being able to think and look back and knowing that it mattered what I did – in the end, that makes it worthwhile to me.”
