Feud continues: Drake Bell goes on the offensive toward Bieber, ‘Beliebers’

http://twitter.com/#!/lauhart_/status/320965418330230785

In the latest chapter of the seemingly never-ending feud, Drake Bell felt the need to prod Justin Bieber’s followers (otherwise known as “Beliebers”). It’s becoming a regular habit.

Here’s some of what Bell has tweeted lately:

“Before I try to beat up the paparazzi I make sure my mascara is perfect!” -Justin Bieber twitter.com/DrakeBell/stat…

— Drake Bell (@DrakeBell) April 7, 2013

How does Justin get his lips so shiny? twitter.com/DrakeBell/stat…

Stupid beliebers thinking that @drakebell actually cares about what you think of him. HAHAHAHA

— •Diяестioпея• (@liams2kidneys) April 7, 2013

Disturbed about the development, Beliebers claim Bell is obsessed with Bieber.

Who has a twitter account dedicated to Justin Bieber but isn’t a belieber? Drake Bell.

— Justin Bieber (@BoogleBieber) April 7, 2013

does drake bell have nothing better to do than insult justin bieber damn someone’s bitter

Don’t waste your time on Drake bell. He’s looking for attention & that’s exactly what your giving him.

— Kidrauhl_ (@powwow20) April 7, 2013

Who knows what will happen next.

Anti-gun protests outside NRA meeting show smallest ’90 percent’ yet

http://twitter.com/#!/puertotexan/status/330716019393978368

We’ll admit that, while it dwarfed the size of your average Sandra Fluke rally, the size of the “crowd” gathered outside the the NRA’s annual meeting at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas, is not a scientific indicator of the public’s support for gun control legislation. Still, that figure of 90 percent public support that gun control advocates keep throwing around does seem awfully high, especially when you consider the equally anemic turnout for the tiny Stop the NRA march in Washington, D.C., last month.

I guess the protesters sleep a little later than the NRA crowd. #NRA #NRAAM twitter.com/CrankyBuddha33…

— Shannon T. Baker (@CrankyBuddha33) May 4, 2013

All right, it is early yet. Let’s give them another four hours to get things rolling.

Not a very big turn from the anti gun protesters at the NRA show, LOL twitter.com/HoustonArmory/…

— Cris Parsons (@HoustonArmory) May 4, 2013

For a moment, at least two of the “protesters” were gun enthusiasts crashing the party.

Just to keep things in perspective, Touré would like to clarify just how tiny the NRA’s membership is.

The NRA’s membership is about three million. Not five million as they’d had you believe. WaPo analysis: m.washingtonpost.com/blogs/fact-che…

Obama says even he isn’t good enough to sell war in Syria to public

http://twitter.com/#!/deirdrewalshcnn/status/377516120904724481

President Obama met with Senate Democrats and Republicans in advance of tonight’s speech on Syria.

http://twitter.com/#!/nowthisnews/status/377512985305956352

Sen. Mark Kirk (R-Ill.) shared a moment with the president, who assured him that public opinion on intervention in Syria is not likely to change as a result of his address to the nation. “I’m good, but not that good,” he told Kirk.

http://twitter.com/#!/HH57/status/377515509551362048

It’s reminiscent of the president’s preview of his speech on the anniversary of Martin Luther King’s “I Have a Dream,” where he cautioned against “elevated expectations” and assured supporters his speech wouldn’t be as good. Good, but not that good.

http://twitter.com/#!/ron_fournier/status/377514435247865856

Seriously: When is the president going to call in his Entertainment Advisory Council and get “Funny or Die” and Katy Perry to rally America in favor of bombing Syria?

Coast Guard rescues man running to Bermuda in a ‘bubble’ [photos]

http://twitter.com/#!/RightDame/status/518635717384486912

“Rogue hamster.” LOL.

Let’s meet the hamster, Reza Baluchi, who was actually on this “run” for charity:

So this guy was going from Miami to Bermuda in a bubble, but the Coast Guard stopped him: http://t.co/t0brviCbp9 pic.twitter.com/fCwk4i7C2B

— Miami Herald (@MiamiHerald) October 4, 2014

Does the Coast Guard now bill Baluchi for the rescue or do those costs count as a charitable contribution as well?

Now, was this just a stunt or a preview of how we’ll travel in the future to avoid Ebola?

Could be. And our intrepid runner from Florida isn’t the only one making “bubble” news. Performer Akon is defending the use of a bubble in his act claiming it was not related to any fears over catching Ebola:

This bubble has been apart of my show for years. Way before Ebola existed. Let's try n stop Ebola before it spreads. pic.twitter.com/3vlB8Xvr3C

— AKON (@Akon) October 4, 2014

Yes, let’s stop the spread of Ebola. With bubbles.

‘My boots were on that ground’: Jodi Ernst drops hammer on Bruce Braley

http://twitter.com/#!/SalenaZitoTrib/status/522912300035215360

In what will indisputably go down as one of the most powerful moments of Thursday night’s Iowa senatorial debate in Sioux City, Republican Jodi Ersnt answered a question about putting boots on the ground by reminding her opponent that “my boots were on that ground that is now held by ISIS.”
