More via KTLA:

He was charged with knowingly attempting to provide material support to al-Qaida and making false statements in an application for a passport.

The indictment alleges that Nguyen made the false statements about his name, date and place of birth, and his parents’ names and places of birth, in order to facilitate an act of international terrorism.

Via the L.A. Times:

Nguyen is not the first Orange County link to the group. Adam Gadahn, who once lived as Adam Pearlman, is a prominent translator and spokesman for the group and has been charged in his absence with treason. A relative of Osama bin Laden’s former bodyguard was located in Tustin in 2009.

Editorial cartoonist takes Obama impeachment fear-mongering to new level

http://twitter.com/#!/mflynny/status/495354088809562112

Some Congressional Democrats with the help of their friends in the media have been trying to spread fears of an impeachment of President Obama.

One editorial cartoonist went above and beyond the call of progressive fear-mongering duty:

Wow. Seriously?

The cartoon might have ended up being too controversial for the paper’s website:

This Kid Is “Apparently” Responsible For The Most Viral Interview In History.

Some people were just born to be on TV, 5-year-old Noah Ritter is “apparently” just one of those people.

While Newswatch 16‘s Sofia Ojeda was reporting at Pennsylvania’s Wayne County Fair, young Noah stole the show when the reporter asked him the simple question of what he thought about one of the rides. Noah grabbed the microphone from her and went on the most adorable little rant about everything: live television, his grandpa, playing the Powerball, what it feels like to be dizzy and so much more.

All while, he overused word “apparently.” Apparently, he said it 8 times.

This local news clip has gone so viral, that it’s ranked up more than 8 million views in just a few days on YouTube.

He has been stuck with his gramps for so long, it’s as if he is absorbing his personality. From the Powerball to the mundane description of that dan-fangled-spinny-contraption, you can tell he picked up some mannerisms from his old man.

The video quickly spread online and little Noah became an instant star. Here’s his reaction to his interview being so viral now:

Fox Business’ Kennedy sums up the problem with all SOTU speeches

http://twitter.com/#!/KennedyNation/status/428418978814234624

Fox Business host and former MTV VJ Kennedy always sums it up so well. See you next year, when the State of Union speech promises to be just as boring and meaningless as it was this year, since it’ll probably be the same text.
