Following bomb threats which earlier forced the evacuation of the University of Texas at Austin and North Dakota State University, Hiram College in Hiram, Ohio, cleared campus buildings late Friday afternoon in response to yet another bomb threat.

Hiram College posted the first update to its website at 5:41 p.m., saying that fire crews and bomb sniffing dogs were checking all campus buildings following a threat which was received around 5 p.m. Residence halls reportedly were cleared by 7 p.m.
Hiram is located about 35 miles southeast of Cleveland and has a student population of around 1,300.

Update: Hiram College is reporting that the sweep has been completed and students are cleared to return to campus.
Safety officials completed their sweep of Hiram campus. It is now safe to return. Investigation identifying the person(s) will continue.
